Water pooling under the kitchen sink after a recent garbage disposal install pointed straight to the new work, but the disposal itself wasn’t the culprit. A loose nut on the P-trap was letting water escape every time the sink drained.
We tightened the P-trap nut, then filled both sides of the sink and let them drain fully to test under load. No leaks from the trap, no leaks from the Badger 5 disposal. Job done without a replacement.
