A reported leak at a Rockwall property led to digging up the yard service line, where a 1″ 90-degree fitting was uncovered. The existing service runs 1″ PVC — an older material that’s prone to failure at fittings and joints.
Options were discussed with the homeowner on site. The requested scope for replacement: new PEX service line with a ball valve at the house, a new meter nipple, and a tie-in to the main. An estimate is being prepared.
