Remodeling plumbing rarely goes exactly as drawn. On this Royse City kitchen and bathroom top-out, the manifold wasn’t directly behind the kitchen sink as expected — it was offset to the side behind a 45° section of wall. Sheetrock and baseboards came out to gain proper access.
With the manifold exposed, two 3/4″ cold water lines, one 3/4″ hot water line, and one 1/2″ hot water line were capped off. Water was restored to the house and checked for leaks before moving on.
The broader scope includes relocating the kitchen drain and supply lines above slab in the toekick for a new island layout, swapping the ceiling vent for an AAV at trim phase, and pulling the master toilet for reinstallation in the secondary bathroom with a new stop and supply line.
