Three copper supply lines beneath a Heath home were punctured, cutting water service to the property. We excavated the slab to expose the damaged lines and assess the full extent of the problem.
Once we had visibility on all three pipes, the repair approach was straightforward: the two half-inch lines feeding the kitchen fixture were capped at the manifold using ProPress fittings, eliminating the damaged sections entirely. The main three-quarter-inch line was reconnected using ProPress-to-PEX fittings, which allowed a clean, reliable connection without additional soldering in a confined excavation.
Water service was restored, and the system tested thoroughly. No issues.
If you’re seeing unexplained wet spots, a sudden drop in water pressure, or a spike in your water bill, it’s worth having your slab inspected. Learn more about our slab leak repair services or contact our Heath plumbing team any time.
